so, micah in arlington, texas had a snow day yesterday before me in new york had one. how unfair is that? so in order to expedite the coming of winter weather, this week i bought a new pair of boots and a bottle of bourbon that i sealed with the words "do not open until snow day". we're supposed to keep getting pretty heavy rain and the temperature is supposed to drop about 20f through next week. so, fingers crossed. |

so i got a speeding ticket today. i was able to talk my way out of the busted headlights& windshield and the commercial plates on a parkway, but apparantly ignoring 80 in a 50mph is a little much to ask. so what's y'all's opinion on paying out of state tickets? i mean, i suppose it would be benificial if i got pulled over in NY again. what would y'all do? |

ct has been a hoot. smogged the beach in norwalk with grady's cousin's on sunday, smogged the zillion dollar houses in wilton, rowaton, & darien on monday. then we went to nyc with kenji & his buddah-camp friends & smogged central park. we wrapped up that evening with some brews on the train to long island and met JP, eulau& KT on long beach in smithtown. took the ferry across the sound. today we steamed our new carpet & clamming in a few hours. tomorrow is move in day, and saturday is my first day of work. |

fall tuition has yet to be paid. jp's grammy is ill, so petracca family fun is postponed. luckily, grady will be in queens when my flight arrives. i got a job, which is well paying & suited to my schedule, but requires driving in manhattan. enough screwed up NY chores.
i canoed town lake with erica yesterday afternoon. which was a nice way to spend my last days in town. except that my toes got burned. |

so yesterday i rode my bike/ cap metro to cynths. the journey started, as most do with a flat tire, so i put a fresh inner tube and tire on, and stabbed myself with a screwdriver. at the bus stop i met this slack-jawed couple telling me about how they used to drink 4 cases of beer a day when they worked at a gas station, and how they dont mind blacks, but mexicans really push their buttons. once i got on guadalupe, the traffic was pretty thick so i decided to stay on the sidewalk, despite its legality and etiquite. and while trying to cross a street before an explorer made a left, another car pulled out from a parking lot and i went onto their hood and then into guadalupe. except for a gear shaped bruise on my right calf, and scratches on my palms, neither the bike or i suffered any serious injury.
then cynth, alex and i watched strangers with candy and got drunk. |

i never make posts any more. its hard to think what i used to write about, but thats neither here nor there.
im unemployed, big suprise.
george flew in from long island this week. i was kinda nervous about him, but we ended up having quite a hoot.
micah turned 18, and i bought him a cigar.
partied with mario last night and had a spirited debate with everybody.
saw donkeys and pirates.
